Detailed Crush and Run Description:

Crush and Run, also known as Crusher Run or ABC in some cases, is a versatile and widely-used type of gravel commonly used in construction and landscaping projects. It consists of a mixture of crushed jagged granite rock and stone dust fines that creates a low-void mixture with a density of 2450 lbs per cubic yard. The crushed stone in Crush and Run ranges from 1.5 inches to stone dust fines, providing high compaction properties, making it ideal for a wide range of projects.

Crush and Run is commonly used as a base for compacted gravel roads, beneath patios, driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and as a foundation for asphalt and building projects. Its versatility, durability, and excellent compaction properties make it a popular choice among landscapers and contractors.

Our Crush and Run is made from a blend of natural stones and is available in grey and sometimes tan color. We provide delivery services directly to your job site at a competitive price that includes all taxes. If you order over 15 tons of Crush and Run, delivery is free. One ton of Crush and Run covers approximately 100 square feet at a depth of 2 inches, and one ton is equal to approximately 1.4 cubic yards.

We have also provided a calculator on our above to help you estimate the amount of Crush and Run you'll need for your project. The calculator is fairly accurate in estimating the amount of material needed, even with weight fluctuations caused by moisture. Simply enter the length, width, and depth of your project, and our calculator will provide you with a rough estimate of the amount of material needed.

Choose Crush and Run for its versatility, durability, and excellent compaction properties. Order now and enjoy fast and reliable delivery directly to your job site, along with the benefits of a high-quality product at a competitive price that includes all taxes.

Unloading needs to be on a firm area; for example, concrete, asphalt or dried out clear spots with plenty of clearance for us to lift our beds. Also take into consideration that our equipment can reach weights of 34 to 40 tons when fully loaded. Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC will not be held liable for any damages done to the unloading location caused by extreme weight of our trucks. The customer has agreed to assume all responsibility for any fines, damages, claims, or other liabilities that may arise due to the placement of the materials by Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC, such as without limitation, placing the materials (i) outside the curb line, (ii) on property belonging to the city or county (including county or city streets), (iii) on private property owned by someone other than the customer, and (iv) obstructing access to a property or entity belonging to any other person. The customer shall take the responsibility to promptly ensure that materials are shifted to their property, besides agreeing that Palmetto Sand and Gravel LLC has no obligation to ensure that materials do not compromise the public right-of-way. Buyer fee will be $50 for every 30 minutes wait after the first 30 minutes.  There will be no additional fees if a customer asks for us to spread the material from our tailgates; however, we cannot guarantee that it will be a uniform layer since sometimes material gets stuck and or does not come out smoothly.
